Botox® Cosmetic

Botox® Cosmetic is an injectable product made with purified botulinum toxin. When injected into the skin, this drug can temporarily reduce the appearance of wrinkles in many areas of the face. It is also used to treat muscle spasms and excessive sweating.


Juvéderm® is a dermal filler that can be used to fill lines, wrinkles and other depressions in the skin. By adding volume to depressions, Juvéderm® helps your skin look younger with improved volume.


Radiesse® is a dermal filler made by BioForm Medical that contains calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres suspended in a water-based gel. Radiesse® is a long-lasting injectable filler that can be used to fill nearly any type of wrinkle.


Sculptra Aesthetic® is an injectable, long-lasting polymer filler made by Sanofi-Aventis that is used to address contour defects of the facial skin. The product is made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) and is biocompatible.

Laser Center

At the UNC Aesthetic & Laser Center, Dr. C. Scott Hultman and his colleagues offer a unique insight into laser technology and how it can be appropriately harnessed to treat many types of skin problems.


Latisse® is an eyelash solution produced by Allergan containing bimatoprost ophthalmic solution 0.03 percent that can treat inadequate lashes. Latisse® solution is a topical medication that can easily be applied at home.

Lip Augmentation

Lip augmentation procedures can be used to enhance the shape of your lips and increase their volume, creating fuller-looking lips with more kissable area. Rather than an implant, injectable fillers such as Juvederm® and Radiesse® can be used to augment the lips.
